Background and Professional Experience
Mr. Pierce has over 25 years of firefighting experience. He currently holds the position of Senior Fire Investigator and owner of Pierce Fire Investigations and Consulting Inc. During the course of Mr. Pierce's career, he has participated in over 2,500 origin and cause investigations including, vehicle, structures, commercial, chimneys and vegetation fires. He has accumulated 18 years experience as a solid fuel contractor and inspector.
Mr. Pierce currently serves on the Technical Committee for the NFPA 211 Standards for Chimneys, Fireplaces, Vents and Solid Fuel- Burning Appliances.
Mr. Pierce serves the fire investigation community as a member of the training committee and a Past President of the California Conference of Arson Investigators.
Mr. Pierce is well versed in the field of commercial pyrotechnics and has just celebrated his 45th year in the industry.

Danny Brown is a retired 31-year member of the Bakersfield Fire Department with 11 years as an Arson Investigator, five of those years as the Battalion Chief in charge. Danny is a certified Fire Investigator 1&2 through the California State Fire Marshal’s Office and a pro board-certified Fire Investigator through the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI).
Investigator Brown has attended the National Fire Academy on multiple occasions with the course load in fire investigations. Mr. Brown is a current member of the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI), the California Conference of Arson of Investigators (CCAI) and the Central Valley Arson Investigators Association. He has completed over 1100 investigations as the lead investigator.

Vic Mabry is a retired 29-year member of the Bakersfield Fire Department with 11 years as a Captain, Arson Investigator and California P.O.S.T certified Peace Officer. Mr. Mabry is a Certified Fire Investigator 1 and 2 through the California State Fire Marshal’s Office and a Pro Board-Certified Fire Investigator (CFI) through the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI).
Mr. Mabry has completed over 2025 fire investigations with over 1852 of those investigations as the lead investigator. He has also attended additional training in vehicle fires, wildland fires and explosion origin and cause. He is a current member of the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI), the California Conference of Arson Investigators (CCAI), and the Central Valley Arson Investigators Association.

Background and Professional Experience
Nicole Pesqueira is a full-time Fire Marshal in the Brea Fire Department. In her current role, she conducts fire investigator duties on top of her fire prevention supervisory duties. She started her career in the fire service in 2009. Her training is diverse as she has expertise in fire prevention and fire protection systems as well as fire investigation and fire behavior.
Ms.Pesqueira is a Certified Fire & Explosion Investigator for the National Association of Fire Investigators as well as a certified Fire Investigator 1 with the California Office of the State Fire Marshal. She has conducted over 100 fire investigations in Southern California. Ms. Pesqueira is also an Adjunct Instructor at Santa Ana College and a registered instructor with the California Office of the State Fire Marshal.
Ms. Pesqueira is a former mixed martial artist. She spent 13 years training in Muay Thai, Boxing, Wrestling, and Jiu-Jitsu. She's involved in dog rescue and has fostered several pitbulls in need of homes.
